You will be responsible for managing a team that researches and verifies credit data of customers to establish or update lines of credit. Additionally, you will develop and implement credit & collection policies and processes, assess and recommend credit limits, and maintain relationships with outside credit and/or collection agencies. Your team will handle a variety of files and records associated with delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks. Improving productivity through process improvement, policy/procedure development, and systems refinement will be a key focus. The required skills and qualifications for this role include 3-5 years of work experience in credit management/AR function, a relevant professional degree with certifications like CA/CWA/CS/CPA/CFA, ability to analyze financial data, effective communication skills, understanding of credit scoring models and legal requirements, thorough knowledge of GST laws/rules/regulations, HSN Classification, and Customs laws/rules & regulations, as well as proficiency in using software for credit analysis and reporting, SAP & BI Tools.
