Role & responsibilities : Experience Required: Minimum 3+ Years (preferably in solar/renewable energy projects) Location: Jamnagar Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Engineering + Safety Certification (NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA or equivalent) Job Summary: The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained and followed across all phases of the solar project. The candidate must have a strong understanding of HSE practices in solar plant construction and operation, with hands-on experience managing site safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor safety protocols as per company and statutory regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation. Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and induction programs for workers and contractors. Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safety signage is in place. Investigate incidents/accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain HSE records, prepare reports, and submit documentation to senior management. Coordinate with Project Managers and contractors to implement safe work practices. Conduct emergency drills and implement emergency response plans. Promote a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility at site. Desired Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations related to solar/renewable energy projects Strong communication and leadership skills Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools Ability to manage multiple contractors and a diverse workforce Problem-solving attitude and high attention to detail
