As an Innovation Projects Specialist at our company, you will collaborate with various teams to identify and define innovation projects, propose opportunities based on technical knowledge, and define R&D actions to achieve project objectives. You will conduct necessary lab tests, communicate research progress, and contribute to industrialization and quality control processes. In the realm of technical support activities using modeling, you will help define objectives, conduct lab-scale tests, design test benches, and write research reports. Your role also involves presenting technical findings to clients and making practical proposals for product formulation and design enhancements. Your general missions will include showing scientific curiosity, keeping abreast of scientific progress, understanding characterization technologies, analyzing results, attending scientific events, and contributing to patent writing and data archiving. Functionally, you will plan, organize, and supervise tasks for lab technicians, provide training, support quality and HSE tasks, and manage research partnerships and collaborative projects. For quality missions, you will conduct training, ensure data entry into archiving systems, and have knowledge of standards related to refractories. In terms of health, safety, and environmental missions, you will apply safety policies, evaluate risk assessments, and enforce waste management protocols. Minimum Education Required: - Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or post-graduation/Ph.D. in material science/ceramics/refractories with 3-5 years of simulation experience. Additional And/or Specific Knowledge: - Thermo-mechanical and fluidic simulation - Expertise in simulation software (preferably Ansys) - Refractory materials characterization techniques - Powder technology, inorganic chemistry, mineralogy, ceramics, dispersion, and rheology of concentrated suspensions.,
