As a Senior Member of the JLL India HSSE team, your role involves implementing and managing HSSE for one of the key JLL WD accounts in the West region of India. You will be responsible for ensuring that the JLL HSSE and Client Management System and Standards are applied across deliverables. Your primary goal is to promote a positive, proactive HSSE culture, influence stakeholders, and ensure alignment and compliance with all client HSSE policies and practices. The role requires you to have a keen eye for HSSE risk and the ability to foster a strong culture of health and safety, delivering world-class HSSE results, improved productivity, and flawless execution. Your responsibilities include implementing and managing WD HSSE standards and Client strategic objectives in operations, managing and reducing operational risks, providing guidance to site teams, and advising on HSSE risk management at all levels. You will also provide technical advice on relevant HSSE issues, communicate changes in legislation, ensure compliance with current legislation, identify improvement opportunities, support the account team in finding practical solutions for HSSE risks, and manage incident and accident investigations. Additionally, you will support the implementation of an effective account HSSE communication plan. In terms of leadership, you are expected to foster a Culture of Safety across the locations in the West region, lead and implement Account HSSE programs, support Regional HSSE leads in developing relationships with key stakeholders, manage client relationships, deliver exceptional service to clients, embed JLL WD HSSE requirements, establish effective relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the WD HSSE program as part of the global HSSE leadership team. You will also ensure 3rd party vendors maintain compliance with JLL WD and Client HSSE Standards at all times. You are also responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of JLL Regional HSSE operational controls, driving the development of best practice HSE training programs, implementing HSE strategies for contractor safety, supporting delivery of HSSE regulatory responsibilities, and managing assurance for the HSSE program. Moreover, you will align the team with client priorities, ensure structured career and succession plans, improve team performance through coaching and feedback, and carry out audits to gather objective evidence. The ideal candidate for this role will possess the ability to influence, partner, and operate strategically, demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to safety management, exhibit strong interpersonal skills, have knowledge of internationally recognized HSSE management systems, deliver objectives effectively, communicate well at all levels, work independently, conduct audits, demonstrate strong business acumen, and lead and inspire others. Essential criteria for this role include a minimum of 6+ years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing HSSE programs, a strong track record in HSE management, ISO 14001 and 45001 management system experience, knowledge of HSE technology platforms, practical experience in real estate environment, problem-solving skills in diverse environments, and an agile approach to leadership and stakeholder management.,
