Job Title: Junior Data Engineer Job Location: Pune Purpose of the role In the context of the introduction of Oerlikon One Data Platform (ODP), there is a high need for expertise in data engineering (Microsoft environment, Azure Data Factory/Fabric). The purpose of this position is to support the delivery of Data Products, i.e. solutions making data from different sources available for usage. The holder of this position analyzes business requirements, transfers them into solution concepts and implements those on the Microsoft-based cloud data platform under the guidance of senior data engineers and architect(s). Duties & Responsibilities Job holder acts as a first level user support for our BI tools and manages tickets, both solving bugs and managing evolutive maintenance. Besides the operational BI work, job holder will also be involved in BI projects and working on further enhancements of our BI tools. Performs daily system interactive monitoring for ETL loads and eventually fixing the errors. Job holder works in a flexible model (home office and presence model) in shifts for extended CET time zone. Analyze business requirements related to data management and analytics Implement data management solutions, incl. integration, transformation, data modelling and storage on Microsoft Deliver maintenance to developed solutions if necessary Outputs Support and maintenance of data products Data is available for reporting on the expected timeline. Assigned project/changes assigned tasks are completed on time agreeing with the guidelines. Data products following common, good practices Compliance of developed solutions with guidelines, security and data protection requirements Leadership & influence (max. 5, budget, leadership, impact on the organization) Role is crucial for achieving Oerlikon’s ambitious objectives towards data drivenness and digitalization in general Influences directly the quality and speed of delivering data products to the organization Interface, Collaboration, Stakeholders (if applicable with significant impact) Business department representatives providing data requirements Data architect IT security specialists IT infrastructure members SAP CoE members External consultants and representatives of tech provider(s) Required education, experience, knowledge (max. 7, list education, experience, knowledge, or special licenses needed to perform the job.) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar Proven track record of at least 3 years of work experience in roles related to data management and analytics. This can include roles such as data engineer, data architect and similar Experienced in multinational and geographically distributed work environments Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Factory and/or Fabric would be a plus Required skills & expertise (max. 9, functional, professional expertise, technological problem-solving) Data Modeling & Design: Understanding of data modeling methodologies and tools in general. Data Technologies: Experience with cloud data platform solutions including data storage, integration tools and frameworks. Cloud Computing: Understanding of general cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics. Strong analytical skills, a pro-active working style, strong result orientation and a hands-on attitude. Job Location :- Pune Must have:- Driver's license and Two Wheeler Job Description:- Perform service activities like rework, modifications, repairs and installation of hot runner systems, and test them to ensure they are working correctly Provide technical support and training at customer site on how to use and maintain the system. Perform maintenance and provide customer support. Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them. Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed. Explain issues with HRS systems and repairs to customers Establish and develop a strong working relationship with customer. You will represent our company in the field. Comply with all safety procedures and policies established Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through verbal and written communication Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal We Value: Knowledge of various types of Polymers, eg. PP, PC, PMMA, PBT, PA, POM, ABS, PC-ABS, PET Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve Be able to work effectively both individually and with a group without need of direct supervision Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customer and other technicians Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined space Be able to relocate within India if required Personal Profile: Good communication skills both written and verbal.
