Overview: As a Unit Manager in the Agency Channel, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of insurance agents to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. You will play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and motivating agents to deliver exceptional results while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: Recruit, onboard, and train a team of insurance agents to achieve sales targets and maximize productivity. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to agents to help them excel in their roles and develop their skills. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Set ambitious sales targets for the team and monitor performance against these targets, taking corrective actions as necessary. Foster strong relationships with agents, clients, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the product knowledge, sales skills, and professionalism of agents. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to mitigate risks and uphold the company's reputation. Monitor agents' adherence to ethical standards, sales practices, and code of conduct, taking appropriate action in case of violations. Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess compliance levels and implement corrective measures as needed. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, sales achievements, market trends, and competitive landscape to senior management. We're looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
