Job Description

The key responsibilities for this position include: Compensation & Benefits Management: You will collaborate closely with regional HR and business heads to oversee the annual salary budgeting and planning process. It will be your responsibility to compare compensation plans with industry standards and suggest enhancements. Ensuring adherence to EPF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus Act, and other statutory regulations will be an essential part of your role. You will also manage employee insurance programs, wellness benefits, and retirement schemes effectively. Trade Union & Industrial Relations Management: Building and nurturing positive relationships with trade unions and employee representatives will be a crucial aspect of this role. You will lead negotiations during collective bargaining and strive for timely and amicable resolution of disputes. Managing disciplinary procedures, conducting domestic enquiries, and addressing grievances with legal prudence will be part of your duties. Ensuring compliance with all labour laws such as the Factories Act and Industrial Disputes Act is imperative. Serving as a bridge between management and employees to promote a transparent and productive work atmosphere is also expected. HR Generalist Activities: Your responsibilities will include developing management and leadership capabilities to drive long-term value creation. Fostering an inclusive culture that aligns with the business strategy will be a key focus area. Monitoring HR metrics like attrition and absenteeism and implementing corrective measures will also be part of your role. Supporting leadership in strategic HR planning activities is essential. Policy & Process Development: You will be tasked with revamping and automating HR systems, policies, processes, and tools to enhance the overall employee experience. Providing training to line managers on policy interpretation and effective employee management will be critical. Maintaining accurate HR records while ensuring data confidentiality and integrity will be a priority.
