We have been mandated by a large conglomerate for the below mentioned position. Position Name : DM/Mgr HR Location : Jharkhand Job Purpose: To manage the HR and IR functions at the plant, ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining industrial harmony, and facilitating workforce engagement, recruitment, statutory compliance, and policy implementation. Key Responsibilities : 1. Human Resources Management: Lead end-to-end HR operations at the plant level. Manpower planning and deployment in coordination with department heads. Talent acquisition for plant-based roles (technical and non-technical). Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities. Performance management implementation and monitoring. Training & development planning for workmen and staff. 2. Industrial Relations: Maintain harmonious relations between management and workers/unions. Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and union negotiations. Ensure adherence to Standing Orders, labor laws, and company IR policies. Liaison with government labor authorities and attend inspections/audits. Preventive and corrective action to avoid labor unrest and absenteeism. 3 Administration & General Services: Oversee plant-level administration, security, canteen, transportation, and accommodation. Develop and implement welfare policies and health & safety awareness programs.
