HPC & Virtualisation Engineer

As a highly skilled HPC & Virtualization Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining HPC environments for AI/ML workloads. You will manage OpenShift virtualization solutions integrated with AI and NVIDIA RTX software, as well as implement and optimize NFS storage solutions for high-performance workloads. Supporting EDA cadence and LSF job scheduling for engineering applications will be a key part of your role, along with configuring and maintaining VDI for remote access and workload management. You will also administer version control tools like Jira, Protex, and Klaworks to streamline development processes, ensuring seamless integration of storage and compute resources for HPC applications. Troubleshooting performance issues, optimizing system configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance infrastructure scalability and efficiency are also essential aspects of this position. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in EDA cadence, LSF, storage configurations, and version control tools like Jira, Protex, and Klaworks. Additionally, you should possess strong expertise in NFS storage and high-performance computing environments, hands-on experience with OpenShift virtualization and AI-based applications, proficiency in NVIDIA RTX software for AI/ML workloads, and experience in managing EDA cadence tools and LSF job scheduling. In-depth knowledge of VDI solutions and storage configuration, familiarity with Jira, Protex, and Klaworks for version control and project management, strong troubleshooting skills for performance tuning and infrastructure optimization, and excellent scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Ansible) for automation are also required. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, as well as certifications in HPC, OpenShift, or NVIDIA AI/ML solutions. Experience in cloud-based HPC solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is also a plus.
