As an experienced Network Support Engineer at our leading generic medicines manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our global network infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include providing network support for WAN, Campus LAN, Wireless, and Datacenter devices, along with hands-on troubleshooting experience in Routing Protocols EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. You will be responsible for supporting network hardware platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Wireless (Cisco/Aruba), Riverbed, Cisco ACI, SDWAN, and F5 load balancers, while also offering level 3 support for network services and requests. In this role, you will be involved in the installation and upgradation of network hardware and software, proactively monitoring performance and availability, responding to critical network incidents, and taking ownership of tickets until resolution. Additionally, you will perform configuration changes and maintenance activities, as well as represent changes in CAB meetings. Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes will be essential for success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold an Engineering/Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, along with leading certifications in Networking such as CCNA, CCNP, etc. You must have 8-12 years of relevant experience in Network operations, including at least 2 to 3 years as an L3 Engineer. Global enterprise experience is preferred, and you should possess a high level of knowledge in network technologies like WAN, datacenter networks, and campus LAN. Proficiency in IP Protocols, IP filtering, firewalling, Routing Protocols, Quality of Service, MPLS, and Ethernet is required. Experience with Cisco/Aruba wireless technology, Cisco ACI, SDWAN, and F5 load balancers technologies is a must, along with familiarity with Cisco, HP/Aruba, Riverbed tools and technologies. Knowledge of Service Now ticketing tool and SolarWinds monitoring tool is beneficial, and expertise in Network scripting (pearl/python/SWQL) would be an added advantage.
