As a Storage and Backup Administrator at our organization based in Noida, you will be responsible for managing the SAN/NAS infrastructure, which includes provisioning, allocation, and LUN management. Your role will involve configuring and supporting Brocade and Cisco SAN switches, as well as administering storage systems such as HP 3PAR, HP Store Easy, and HP MSA. Additionally, you will be expected to perform storage decommissioning, capacity planning, and ensure compliance with retention and legal hold policies. In this position, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining backup solutions using tools like Commvault, Veeam, and Veritas NetBackup. You will schedule, monitor, and restore backups, maintain backup catalogs and application databases, as well as manage tape libraries, disk pools, and tape pools. Furthermore, you will be required to coordinate with vendors/OEMs for support cases and issue resolution, while also handling daily BAU operations for storage and backup systems. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise storage and backup management, with hands-on expertise in SAN switches (Brocade/Cisco) and LUN provisioning. Proficiency in enterprise backup tools and data protection practices, along with strong troubleshooting and vendor coordination skills, are essential requirements for this position.
