Job Overview

Poppys Tuskers Hill Resort, nestled in the serene hills of Anaikatti, is looking for dedicated Housemen to ensure guest rooms, corridors, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role supports guest comfort, upholds hotel policies, and fosters a cooperative team environment.

Role Summary

• Clean assigned areas in line with company policies.
• Report damages, maintenance needs, or unusual incidents to superiors.
• Maintain courteous and professional interactions with guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and review the notice board for updates.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and respond to guest enquiries.
• Clean and maintain rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Perform daily cleaning and turndown services.
• Replenish supplies and handle special guest requests.
• Safeguard guest belongings and hotel property; report suspicious activity.
• Use and return master keys responsibly.
• Keep work areas neat and follow housekeeping SOPs.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Maintain personal appearance, hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Support team members and carry out duties assigned by superiors.

• Work cooperatively with all colleagues and departments.
• Communicate clearly, build trust, and uphold integrity.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience and maintain company values.

Skills & Qualifications

• Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Good communication and service skills.
• Physically fit for cleaning duties.
• Flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

• Hotel: 1 year (Preferred)
