As a member of the critical care manufacturing team in Bethlehem, PA, you will play a crucial role in the control and monitoring of manufacturing systems to synthesize and purify inhalation anesthetic agents. Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for following operating procedures, rules, and instructions to ensure a safe working environment. Your duties will include participation in 5S and SFTI initiatives, troubleshooting automation and operational issues, entering SAP data real-time on production processes, and coordinating work orders with Maintenance. You will be tasked with achieving manufacturing schedule and production goals, producing accurate manufacturing batch records, ensuring audit readiness of manufacturing area and control systems, and cooperating with management and colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) will be essential in all business areas where cGMPs apply. Operating reactors, distillation columns, filters, and molecular sieves, as well as handling hazardous chemicals and adjusting equipment controls when necessary, will be part of your daily responsibilities. In addition to manufacturing tasks, you will be expected to maintain cleanliness in the work environment, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and assist other functional departments when needed. Your high school diploma or equivalent, ability to interpret documents and instructions, and physical capability to meet the demands of the job will contribute to your success in this role. A positive attitude, continuous learning mindset, good troubleshooting skills, and mechanical aptitude will be valuable assets in ensuring safe and reliable plant operations.
