Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervise, train, and monitor housekeeping staff (room attendants, janitors, cleaners, etc.).
Allocate work schedules and assign duties for daily cleaning activities.
Inspect rooms, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; request replenishments as necessary.
Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and used.
Handle guest or client complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain records related to house keeping such as attendance, inspection reports, supply usage, etc.
Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular training and briefing sessions to maintain team performance and motivation.

Preferred candidate profile

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/certificate in housekeeping/hospitality management preferred.
Proven experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
Ability to work under pressure and flexible schedules (shifts, weekends, holidays).
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene practices.
