We create a platform of shared resources—marketing, technology, supply chain, finance, and retail distribution—allowing each brand to focus on product excellence and storytelling. We are expanding our portfolio with new, high-potential brands and are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to spearhead this journey. Role Overview The Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) will take full ownership of conceptualizing, validating, launching, and scaling a new consumer brand within the House of Brands ecosystem. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role suited for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds fast, tests faster, and can turn an idea into a revenue-generating business. You will operate like the founder of a startup, with the backing, infrastructure, and resources of a high-growth brand-building company. Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Concept Development Identify market gaps and opportunities across relevant consumer categories. Develop the brand vision, positioning, value proposition, and product roadmap. Conduct customer research, competitor mapping, and category analysis. 2. Product Development & Supply Chain Work with internal and external partners to develop prototypes and first production batches. Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end sourcing. Ensure quality standards, compliance, and cost-efficiency. 3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning & Launch Build a complete GTM strategy including pricing, packaging, branding, and distribution. Collaborate with design and marketing teams on brand identity, website, and launch campaigns. Set up marketplace listings (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and D2C infrastructure. 4. Growth, Marketing & Sales Own performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, retention, and revenue. Design and execute digital marketing campaigns—Meta, Google, Influencer, Affiliate. Explore offline retail, export, and B2B opportunities where relevant. 5. Business Operations & P&L Ownership Manage forecasting, inventory planning, cash flow, and budgeting. Create monthly business reviews and performance dashboards. Drive continuous improvement across product, pricing, and processes. 6. Cross-Functional Leadership Leverage shared services (finance, legal, tech, ops, creative) to scale quickly. Coordinate with senior leadership on strategic direction and fundraising (if applicable). Build and mentor a small team as the brand grows. Who You AreMust-Haves 0–10 years of experience in entrepreneurship, brand building, D2C, e-commerce, or category management. Demonstrated ability to launch or scale a product/brand (your own startup counts). Strong understanding of consumer behavior, digital marketing, and product strategy. Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and high ownership. Data-driven decision maker with a bias for action. Good-to-Haves Experience with FMCG, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, wellness, home, or food startups. Marketplace expertise: Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc. Ability to think big while executing small, fast tests. Network of suppliers, freelancers, marketers, and creators.
