Job Description

Greeting customers and providing friendly service
Scanning or entering items into the point-of-sale (POS) system
Calculating total purchases and informing customers of the amount due
Accepting payments via cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, or gift cards
Giving correct change and printing receipts
Balancing the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts
Handling returns, exchanges, and refunds
Answering basic customer inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff
