Job Description

Primary Responsibilities: Guest Check-in and Check-out: Welcome guests on arrival. Verify bookings and process registration. Assign rooms and issue room keys or key cards. Handle payment and billing processes. Reservation Management: Take bookings via phone, email, or online systems. Update and manage room availability in the hotel system. Handle special requests (e.g., early check-in, late check-out). Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Handle complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Arrange transportation, wake-up calls, or concierge services. Administrative Duties: Answer phones, respond to emails. Maintain guest records and prepare reports (e.g., occupancy rates). Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments. Skills Required: Excellent communication (verbal and written) Customer service orientation Problem-solving and conflict resolution Multitasking and time management Computer literacy (hotel booking systems, email, Microsoft Office) Professional appearance and demeanor Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (some hotels prefer hospitality training) Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is often preferred Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus in international hotels Typical Work Environment: Rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) Standing for long periods Interaction with diverse guests Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
