Hostel Warden

Job Summary:

The Hostel Warden is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hostel and ensuring the safety, discipline, and well-being of all residents. The warden acts as a mentor and authority figure, promoting a healthy, respectful, and disciplined environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor employees/staff residing in the hostel.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and security of hostel residents.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of hostel premises.
• Handle student grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and prompt manner.
• Maintain records of hostel occupancy, attendance, and leave.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure quality food and timely service.
• Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department and ensure timely resolution.
• Enforce rules and regulations of the hostel as per institutional guidelines.
• Conduct regular room inspections for cleanliness and compliance.
• Liaise with parents/guardians in case of emergencies or behavioral concerns.
• Assist during student admissions, allotment of rooms, and check-outs.
• Take charge in emergencies like fire, medical issues, or natural disasters.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
