To ensure the smooth functioning, discipline, safety, and overall welfare of students residing in the hostel by maintaining a homely environment conducive to personal and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities: Hostel Administration

• Supervise daily hostel operations including accommodation, cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
• Maintain records of hostel occupancy, attendance, and student movement (in/out register).
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance staff for hostel upkeep.
• Ensure timely repairs of electrical, plumbing, and other facilities.

2. Student Welfare and Discipline

• Foster a safe, caring, and disciplined environment for students.
• Monitor student behavior and counsel them when required.
• Implement hostel rules and ensure adherence to code of conduct.
• Handle grievances, interpersonal conflicts, and emergencies calmly and effectively.

3. Health, Hygiene, and Safety

• Ensure hygiene standards in rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Monitor food quality and dining hall operations (in coordination with mess staff).
• Keep a check on student health and coordinate with medical personnel for emergencies.
• Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

4. Communication and Reporting

• Maintain regular communication with parents, teachers, and administration regarding student welfare.
• Submit periodic reports on hostel functioning, attendance, and disciplinary issues.
• Keep records of leave applications, night-outs, and visitors.

5. Mentoring and Student Development

• Act as a mentor and guide for hostel students, providing emotional and academic support.
• Organize hostel activities, celebrations, and motivational sessions.
• Encourage a sense of community, responsibility, and cooperation among students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
