Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Hostel Warden to manage the day-to-day operations of the student hostel. The warden will be responsible for ensuring discipline, safety, well-being, and smooth functioning of the hostel premises, while also addressing student concerns and maintaining a conducive living environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain discipline and order in the hostel and ensure students adhere to hostel rules and regulations. Monitor the entry and exit of residents and maintain attendance/visitor registers. Handle student grievances and provide support or escalate issues when needed. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of hostel rooms and common areas. Supervise hostel staff such as cleaners, security, and maintenance personnel. Conduct regular room checks for hygiene, damage, or unauthorized appliances. Coordinate with college administration, security, and healthcare in case of emergencies. Organize orientation for new residents and periodic meetings with hostel inmates. Maintain records such as occupancy, complaints, disciplinary actions, and supplies. Report any serious incidents to higher authorities promptly.
