Role & responsibilities We are inviting applications for a responsible and caring (ready to join immediate) Hostel Warden / Hostel In charge to manage the day-to-day operations and welfare of students in the school hostel. The candidate should have a nurturing personality, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to manage discipline while creating a safe and friendly environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the girls/boys hostel Ensure discipline, hygiene, and security of students Maintain attendance, daily logs, and student records Handle grievances and health concerns of hostel students Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and catering within the hostel Liaise with parents, medical staff, and school authorities as needed Address behavioral issues and enforce rules in a firm but empathetic manner Organize activities to promote well-being and bonding among students Ensure smooth check-in/out procedures for students during term break The role also involves being responsible for hostel student retention and supporting new admission growth. Preferred candidate profile Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Student counseling and conflict resolution Hostel administration and operations Ability to manage adolescents with care and authority First aid and emergency handling Record-keeping and documentation Team coordination (with wardens, support staff, kitchen, etc.) Multitasking and crisis management
