Assist in shifting patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and other departments (e.g., X-ray, OT). Help patients with daily activities like bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding (as needed). Maintain cleanliness of the patient’s room, bed, and surrounding areas. Transport specimens, files, and equipment within the hospital premises as directed. Dispose of medical and general waste as per hospital protocols. Support nurses and doctors during procedures by providing necessary assistance and materials. Ensure timely delivery of food, medicines, and supplies to patients. Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality. Report any unusual patient behavior or emergencies to the nursing staff immediately. Follow infection control procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
