We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Medical Records Department (MRD) Executive to join our hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient records, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the healthcare team with timely and compliant documentation. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of healthcare information systems, and a strong sense of confidentiality and ethics. Role & responsibilities Maintain, update, and organize patient medical records, both electronic and physical files. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Manage Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems and assist staff in retrieving patient data. Conduct regular audits to ensure records meet hospital and accreditation standards. Collaborate with medical, billing, insurance, and administrative teams for smooth data flow. Assist in report generation and statistical data compilation for hospital management. Train staff on medical records protocols and ensure adherence to documentation best practices. Implement and maintain data security, archiving, and backup procedures. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Management, or related field. 13 years of experience in medical records management or healthcare documentation. Working knowledge of hospital record systems and documentation practices. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and healthcare software. Good organizational and analytical skills.
