Hospital Administration Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Administration Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing studies in healthcare administration, hospital management, public health, or a related field. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a hospital, supporting administrative tasks and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily administrative operations and coordination across departments
• Support documentation, data entry, and maintenance of hospital records
• Participate in planning, organizing, and implementing internal projects
• Help monitor inventory levels of medical and office supplies
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for meetings
• Work with HR to assist in scheduling staff shifts and training sessions
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Provide support during audits, inspections, or accreditation activities
• Interact with patients, families, and hospital staff to support smooth workflow
• Conduct research and benchmarking on best practices in hospital administration

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma and degree in Hospital Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or hospital management software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
• A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
• Good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
