Join the Team at Tulip Group! We are looking for an imaginative and skilled Landscape Designer/Architect based in Pune. As a Landscape Designer/Architect, you will play a crucial role in creating stunning and sustainable outdoor environments by combining your artistry in landscape design with in-depth knowledge of plant science and horticultural practices. Working closely with clients, architects, and contractors, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and bringing to life captivating outdoor spaces. Your primary duties will include crafting innovative and visually appealing landscape designs that align with clients" requirements and project specifications. You will be expected to produce detailed design documentation, including drawings, 3D visualizations, layouts, and plans using software tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent. Moreover, you will integrate sustainable design elements into projects, such as water conservation, soil integrity, and energy-efficient landscaping methods, while selecting appropriate materials for paving, illumination, furnishings, and other landscape components. In addition to landscape design, you will also be involved in project management and execution. This will entail collaborating with clients to understand their visions and translating them into practical designs. You will work closely with landscape contractors, gardeners, and maintenance teams to ensure the seamless implementation of designs, conducting site evaluations, overseeing development, and providing technical guidance throughout the process. Furthermore, staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in landscape architecture, horticulture, and sustainability practices will be essential. You will be encouraged to explore new planting techniques, irrigation systems, and eco-conscious materials to enhance your creativity and expertise in the field. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Additional certification or training in horticulture or landscaping would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set encompassing horticulture, architecture, site assessment, eco-friendly practices, horticultural principles, plant science, landscape design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD), project coordination, irrigation systems, sustainable design, and plant health.
