HORECA Sales – Kitchen Treasures

Role Overview: We are looking for an energetic and self-driven intern to support our HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Catering) expansion project in Idukki district for Kitchen Treasures, a leading Kerala Spice & Masala brand. The project focuses on identifying potential customers in the tourism sector and driving brand entry and adoption in the region. Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Mapping & Data Building Identify and create a database of all resorts, hotels, restaurants, and home stays across Idukki’s key tourist locations. Collect key details such as contact information, size, and current brand usage. Conduct competitor mapping to understand market share and product presence.

2. Field Visits & Engagement Visit each identified outlet, meet the manager, chef, and introduce Kitchen Treasures’ range of products. Communicate brand strengths, product quality, and local relevance effectively.

3. Product Sampling & Trials Distribute product samples for trial and record chef/consumer feedback. Track sampling success and follow up to convert trials into regular usage.

4. Sales Conversion & Support Work closely with local distributors/sales teams to ensure product availability. Assist in taking trial or first orders and facilitate smooth supply. Monitor repeat orders and help develop strong customer relationships.

5. Reporting & Insights Submit weekly reports on outlet coverage, samples given, trials, and conversions. Share market feedback, competitor activities, and pricing information. Suggest actionable insights to strengthen HORECA strategy.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Final-year or recently graduated student in BBA, or Hotel Management.

• Skills: o Excellent communication and interpersonal ability. o Confidence in meeting and influencing new people. o Local knowledge of Idukki/tourist markets (preferred). o Comfortable with fieldwork and travel. o Basic data management (Excel/Sheets)

• Language: Malayalam and English • Personal Traits: Energetic, resourceful, self-motivated, and target-oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
