We are excited to announce that Technip Energies is currently seeking for Engineer/Senior Engineer Instrumentation Design to join our team at our Chennai Office. As a global and leading engineering and technology company, we are committed to accelerating the energy transition and designing and delivering added value energy solutions. Responsibilities for this position include preparing and checking single line diagrams, detailed calculations for major electrical equipment, and design calculations for earthing, lighting, cable sizing, and cable tray/trench sizing. You will also be responsible for checking electrical layouts, understanding substation automation systems, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines for inputs and technical issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and quantity take offs, supporting field engineering and troubleshooting, and adhering to corporate QHSE policy. To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 5+ years of relevant industry experience. A Master's Degree in Engineering (M.E./M.Tech) shall be an added advantage. You should be conversant with ETAP, SEL, and other lighting software and have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries. You should also be well-versed with Indian & International codes and have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
