Job Description

Responsibilities:

Collect blood samples using venipuncture, capillary puncture, or arterial collection techniques.
Label and document specimens accurately and ensure proper handling and transportation.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comfort during procedures.
Verify patient identity and ensure correct sample collection.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work area.
Follow infection control and safety procedures.
Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies.
Coordinate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals for timely processing of samples.
Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
