Job Description: Operations Manager – Printing & Packaging (Holograms, Foils, Labels) Position Title: Operations Manager Industry: Printing & Packaging (Hologram Labels, Aluminium Pharma Foils, Shrink Sleeves, Tamper-evident Labels & Seals) Location: Vasai East Reporting To: Managing Director Age Range: 30–35 years Experience Required: Minimum 10 years Education: Graduate in Mechanical Engineering Postgraduate Diploma in Roto Gravure Printing (Mandatory) Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple production lines including hologram labels, aluminium foils, shrink sleeves, and tamper-evident labels. Ensure high-quality output and minimize downtime through efficient scheduling and preventive maintenance. Monitor KPIs such as production efficiency, wastage levels, machine utilization, and delivery timelines. 2. Innovation & Product Development: Lead R&D for developing new packaging and label solutions tailored to pharma, FMCG, and beverage sectors. Collaborate with design, procurement, and customer teams for prototyping and trial runs. Stay updated with technological advancements in gravure printing and finishing technologies. 3. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor production supervisors, quality control teams, and technical staff. Implement skill development and cross-training programs for enhanced workforce flexibility. 4. Sales & Business Development Support: Coordinate with the sales team to align production with market demands.
