Job description for Human Resource Associate Location: Gurugram/Noida #of working days: 5 days a week with 2 Saturdays working (2nd & 4th) Timings: 10am to 7pm Employment Type: Full time (Onsite) We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate to support our growing team. The role will cover end- to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations. As part of a startup, the HR Associate will also contribute to building scalable people processes and culture. Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Manage end-to-end hiring process: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer rollouts. Build a strong candidate pipeline through job portals, LinkedIn, and referrals. Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements. 2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Conduct smooth onboarding & induction programs for new employees. Maintain employee records (HRIS, payroll inputs, documents, etc.). Support employee exits (resignation process, exit interviews, full & final settlements). 3. HR Operations & Compliance Ensure statutory compliance with Indian labour laws (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment). Maintain HR policies and update documentation as required. Coordinate with external vendors for payroll, compliance, and insurance. 4. Performance Management & Employee Engagement Assist in performance review cycles and probation confirmations. Plan and execute engagement activities (events, feedback surveys, recognition programs). Support grievance handling and conflict resolution. 5. Culture & Employer Branding Support initiatives that strengthen organizational culture. Promote employee referral programs and internal communication campaigns. Assist in HR content for LinkedIn/website showcasing company culture. Key Result Areas (KRAs) 1.Recruitment Efficiency – Deliver timely and quality hires. 2.Employee Experience – Smooth onboarding, engagement, and retention. 3.HR Operations – Accurate and timely payroll, compliance, and documentation. 4.Performance Management Support – Transparent and structured evaluation cycles. 5.Culture & Engagement – Active participation and initiatives that enhance workplace satisfaction. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Recruitment Average time-to-hire: ≤ 30–40 days per role. Offer-to-joining ratio: ≥ 80%. Onboarding & Lifecycle Employee onboarding satisfaction score: ≥ 8/10. New hire documentation & induction completion: 100%. Employee retention during first 6 months: ≥ 90%. HR Operations & Compliance Payroll accuracy: 100%. Compliance adherence (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act filings) HRIS record update accuracy: ≥ 99%. Employee Engagement & Culture Participation rate in engagement activities: ≥ 70%. Quarterly employee engagement score: ≥ 7.5/10. Attrition rate (voluntary): maintained within industry benchmarks. Performance Management Completion rate of appraisal cycles: 100% on time. Probation review completion: 100% adherence. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred). 1–3 years of HR experience (startup/SME experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws & HR practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, HRIS tools, and recruitment platforms.
