As a PLC Trainer, your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver training modules on PLC programming, focusing on platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Delta Omron, and more. You will be instructing trainees on ladder logic, function block diagram (FBD), structured text (ST), and other PLC programming languages. Hands-on training using real or simulated automation equipment like HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, sensors, and actuators will be an essential part of your role. You will be assessing trainees" progress through assignments, practicals, and tests, ensuring their understanding and proficiency in PLC programming. It will also be your responsibility to keep abreast of current industry trends and technologies, incorporating relevant updates into the training curriculum. Developing training materials, manuals, and documentation will be crucial to facilitate effective learning among trainees. Additionally, providing technical support and mentorship to trainees will be essential to their growth and development in the field of industrial automation. Therefore, prior experience in PLC programming and industrial automation is required, along with familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems, sensors, control panels, and industrial networking. Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other PLC systems is also necessary for this role. Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field. - Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. - Experience in training or mentoring, either formal or informal. - Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems, sensors, control panels, and industrial networking. - Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other PLC systems. - Prior training or teaching experience is preferred.
