Shopfloor & Utility Maintenance: Oversee the instrumentation, electronics, and electrical maintenance of all shopfloor and utility equipment. Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of PLCs, VFDs, SCADA systems, embedded systems, and robotic automation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems, sensors, and automated equipment. Optimize energy efficiency through advanced automation solutions and predictive maintenance techniques. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in automation and maintenance processes to enhance OEE, reduce energy consumption, and lower maintenance costs. Standardize automation processes and develop SOPs for seamless operation and troubleshooting. Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and proof-of-concept trials for new automation projects. Provide technical training and skill development programs for the maintenance and operations teams. Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies. Preferred candidate profile Experience: Around10 years in a manufacturing setup, with 5+ years in a leadership role handling automation + electrical/instrumentation maintenance . Proven track record of executing complex automation projects in pharma/FMCG/auto/engineering sectors. Hands-on experience with: PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, HMI, VFDs Vision inspection systems, robotics, conveyors, ASRS IoT sensors, control panels, and building automation systems Working knowledge of AutoCAD electrical drawings, and project documentation. Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance , and plant utility systems. Exposure to digitalization platforms , smart energy meters, and WMS/SAP integration is a plus.
