Fiserv is seeking a Mainframe Automation Engineer that has extensive experience in mainframe system automation technologies. This individual should be self-motivated and driven to help contribute toward the success of our mainframe technology initiatives. This person will work in a team environment supporting multiple systems in a highly redundant and robust mainframe environment. Responsibilities Include: - Create and Maintain OPS/MVS REXX rules, SSM tables, and programs - Resolve Automation issues - Collaborate with other infrastructure, application, and operations areas on their automation needs - Provide support during z/OS Upgrades - Participate in DR recovery and testing - Work with vendors for system support and problem resolution - Provide 12X5 on-call support as part of a team rotation - Ability to learn new automation technologies such as Python, Groovy/Java, and Jenkins Pipelines. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience - At least 12 + years of experience with mainframe technologies Preferred Skills/Experience: - Extensive experience in mainframe technologies - Technical troubleshooting of OPS/MVS issues - Complex z/OS Sysplex environments - Automating mainframe tasks across our environment - Subject matter expert in REXX Programming, OPS/MVS, IPL and shutdown processing, Subsystems such as CICS, IMS, JES2, MQ, and DB2, HMC operations, JCL, Knowledge of BMC products. The Production Manager for Machining Components (CNC/VMC/HMC) is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the machining components division. Your role involves developing and implementing efficient production schedules to meet delivery deadlines, optimizing machine utilization, and minimizing downtime. You will supervise CNC, VMC, and HMC operations, ensuring proper machining parameters, tooling selection, and fixture setups. Additionally, you will manage, train, and supervise production staff to maintain discipline and productivity. Collaborating with the QA/QC team, you will ensure components meet dimensional and surface finish requirements, thereby reducing rework and rejection rates. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced productivity and cost reduction through methods like 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and Lean Manufacturing. Coordinating with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines is crucial to ensure maximum uptime. Monitoring raw material and tooling inventory, coordinating with stores and purchase for timely availability, and maintaining production logs and reports are also part of your responsibilities. Key skills required include in-depth knowledge of CNC Turning, VMC, and HMC operations, strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and measurement instruments, and experience in machining ferrous and non-ferrous components. Familiarity with CAM software and machine control systems such as Fanuc and Siemens is essential. Your leadership, team management, and communication skills will be critical in this role. Qualifications for this position include a Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering and a minimum of 10-18 years of experience in the precision machining industry. Preferred industries include auto components manufacturing, aerospace/defence machining, heavy engineering/precision parts, and oil & gas component manufacturing. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits like food provision, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
