Role Overview: You will be part of the Global Supplier Management (GSM) organization, where your primary responsibility will be to establish and sustain world-class supply chain operations to meet customer commitments. As a Supply Chain Business Manager, you will work on production challenges, manage operations excellence at suppliers, and contribute to continuous process improvement projects. The ideal candidate is expected to be result-driven, a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Define and monitor metrics aligned with AOP objectives for supplier performance, driving the team to address and close gaps for continuous improvement - Manage supplier performance through scorecards and related parameters - Ensure on-time material delivery, supplier capacity for production goals, and inventory management strategies - Handle material availability escalations and coordinate with suppliers to prevent line downtime - Support quality escalations to ensure compliance with standards and processes - Work on process improvement initiatives related to procurement, inventory control, and manufacturing strategies - Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using problem-solving methodologies - Facilitate early supplier involvement in new product parts design for quality and manufacturability optimization - Set goals with suppliers to meet forecasted demand for material delivery - Represent on cross-functional strategic commodity teams to address supply challenges and meet customer needs - Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex problems and ensure on-time delivery - Improve supplier manufacturing processes for product quality and timely delivery - Ensure awareness of Business Continuity plans, Risk management programs, and governance of Contracts with suppliers - Stay informed about cost reduction and sourcing strategies Qualification Required: - Bachelor's in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering or related field; MBA will be an added advantage - Minimum 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a successful track record in Global Supply Chain Operations - Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing, and logistics operations - Familiarity with Semiconductors, Electrical equipment Manufacturing, or High-technology supply management practices - Understanding of Commercial off the shelf items, OEM, Proprietary/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic components - Ability to work in a general shift and attend meetings in the USA PST time zone Additional Company Details: N/A,
