Media Effectiveness Senior Analyst Job Description: A highly qualified analytics professional with experience optimizing multiple digital marketing channels as well as leading projects to greatness. The Digital Media Analytics Senior Analyst is focused on supporting our Digital Media business (Search, Display, Social, Email) within the Performance Media Analytics group. The position will be providing analytic direction to strategic clients in improving their digital marketing programs. The Senior Analyst will serve as a primary point of contact between many of our clients and stakeholders around managing and enhancing our clients digital analytics and measurement. They will also be part of a growing multifaceted digital analytics team that develops advanced analytic solutions for top companies across industries. Key Responsibilities: Engage directly with the client to understand marketing objectives. Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, KPIs, and reporting objectives. Interpret large datasets and communicate key insights through storytelling and visual analytics. Optimize data visualizations and dashboard performance. Work closely with Data Engineering and ETL teams to ensure reliable data pipelines. Develop custom performance reporting and analyses across multiple channels (Search, Display, Social, Email etc) Architect solutions & provide recommendations that drive results on client campaigns & objectives Collaborate closely with other teams to formulate industry-best-practice analytic solutions and directly contribute to a variety of validation activities such as model design, execution and assessment; data review; and campaign/marketing performance evaluation. Responsible for assisting in defining a comprehensive measurement framework, developing effective reporting and dashboards with an objective to evaluate marketing performance and provide recommendations for enhancement Manage the day to day core insights/trends of our digital marketing programs to help guide optimization efforts Work with various internal and external stakeholders to develop project plan, manage the day-to-day tasks and meet project deadlines Qualifications: 3 - 5 years of industry experience required. Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. Expertise in building advanced dashboards, custom calculations, level of detail (LOD) expressions, and parameter actions. Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Experience working with large datasets from diverse data sources (databases, cloud, spreadsheets, APIs, etc.). Familiarity with data modeling concepts and BI best practices.Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering required Strong experience with SQL and Python required Demonstrated proficiency in multiple digital marketing channels (Paid Search or SEM, Organic Search or SEO, Paid Social, Earned Social, Display, Email) required Media Platforms and 3rd Party Tools experience (Google Adwords, DoubleClick, MediaMath, Bing Ads, ExactTarget, Hitwise, BrightEdge, Facebook, etc.) useful Strong experience in Web Analytics tools (Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics, AdWords, AdCenter, DoubleClick, MediaMath, Exact Target, etc.) preferred Understanding of relational databases and familiarity with data processing Excellent written and oral presentation skills. The primary responsibility in this role is to be the go-to resource for our brands and successfully lead the day-to-day strategic management of complex and sophisticated Search & social campaigns. As a Paid Media Associate, you will perform day-to-day campaign activities with teams for brands in Paid Search (PPC) campaigns and social paid campaigns. This includes bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, campaign expansion, and more. You will act as the main point of contact for marketing, internal departments, and third-party providers. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of market strategies for Paid Search and social campaigns. This involves developing strategic roadmaps, test plans, risk/benefit analysis, analyzing results, and developing actionable insights. You will employ analytical reasoning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage campaigns and communicate findings professionally to the marketing team. Utilizing business acumen, you will work closely with marketing teams to identify business needs, campaign performance objectives, and growth opportunities. Active monitoring and sharing of industry news, online marketing trends, industry tools, and internal cross-team key learnings are essential aspects of the role. The Paid Media Associate will work with platforms such as GDN, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc., and provide daily reports and analysis to be shared within the organization. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 2 years of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience, preferably on the agency side. Experience with SA360 is a plus. Mastery of Excel, including extensive data manipulation and tactical execution, is required. You should be capable of leading mid-tier accounts with limited oversight and possess comprehensive data analysis and problem-solving skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, and chart building, are necessary. Working knowledge of Visual Basic macros and additional SEM software skills such as Tableau and Hitwise are advantageous. As a Paid Media Associate, you will work collaboratively with key individuals and teams within the organization to ensure the success of campaigns and achieve business objectives.,
