Hiring Power Bi Developer - Agiliad Technologies

His/her role would be a BI developer who creates visualization tools for the project and enables the company to effectively process or store the data to use in future projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction and Preparation: Extract data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, and APIs. Clean and transform data using Power Query to ensure it is ready for analysis.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models that define relationships between different data sets, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.
• Report and Dashboard Development: Create interactive reports and Dashboards using Power BI Desktop. Ensure the visualizations effectively communicate insights and meet the needs of stakeholders.
• Data Visualization: Select appropriate visualizations for data presentation, ensuring clarity and aesthetics in the reports and dashboards.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business teams to understand their data needs and ensure that the reports and dashboards align with organizational goals.
• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across reports.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize report performance and query efficiency to ensure quick data retrieval and analysis.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards, ensuring that processes and methodologies are clearly outlined for future reference.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in DAX: Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculations and data manipulation is essential.
• Data Transformation Skills: Ability to clean and shape data for meaningful insights.
• Visualization Expertise: Skills in creating visually compelling reports and dashboards.
• Data Source Connectivity: Knowledge of connecting to various data sources, including databases and cloud services

Education & Experience

• Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Must have 5+ experience on Power BI, Development & Implementation (end to end).
• Experience in writing DAX in MS Power BI Desktop
• Proficient at data visualization using Power BI and strong application development
• Create data models on the backend- this includes doing data transformations, writing DAX scripts, choosing the best schema that suits the data etc.
