Responsibilities

Following are the day-to-day work activities:

  • Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications such as

    PolicyCenter

    ,

    BillingCenter

    , and

    ClaimCenter

    .
  • Develop and maintain

    integrations with external systems

    using

    SOAP/REST APIs

    .
  • Write and debug code using

    Java

    ,

    GOSU

    , and

    SQL

    .
  • Leverage

    GitHub Copilot

    and

    Generative AI tools

    to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct

    unit and integration testing

    to ensure solution quality.
  • Provide

    support for QA and production environments

    .
  • Analyze and resolve complex software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.
  • Identify and implement

    process improvements

    and

    best practices

    .
  • Collaborate closely with

    cross-functional teams

    and management throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

The must have requirements are:

  • 310 years of hands-on implementation experience with

    Guidewire InsuranceSuite

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Gosu

    ,

    Java

    ,

    XML

    , and

    XSLT

    .
  • Experience with

    Guidewire Studio

    ,

    Rules

    ,

    Workflows

    , and

    Data Model

  • Familiarity with

    Git

    CI/CD pipelines

  • Hands-on experience using

    GitHub Copilot

    or similar

    AI pair programming tools

  • Understanding of

    Generative AI concepts

    and their application in software development.
  • Familiarity with

  • Knowledge of

    Property & Casualty Insurance
