We are seeking a skilled and experienced ITI Turner with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operating conventional and CNC turning machines. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of turning operations, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining machining precision. This role is critical in supporting the manufacturing of high-quality components as per specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional and/or CNC turning machines safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Set up tools, machine parameters, and fixtures as per job requirements.
• Perform precision machining of metal parts and components.
• Inspect and measure finished products using instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to ensure quality output.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain records of day to day works, quality checks, and tool usage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to resolve production issues.

Requirements:

• Education:

  ITI Turner Trade Certificate from a recognized institute.

• Experience:

  35 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Proficiency in using turning machines and tools.
• Basic knowledge of CNC turning (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and tolerances.
• Good understanding of materials and cutting tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CNC programming or semi-automatic machines.
• Familiarity with ISO or quality management systems.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• A willingness to work in shifts (if required).

ITI Machinist Grinder

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate various types of grinding machines such as:
• Surface grinders
• Cylindrical grinders (external/internal)
• Tool & cutter grinders (if applicable)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Perform grinding operations to achieve required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels, dress them, and mount correctly.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and surface finish testers for inspection.
• Maintain machines and tools in good working condition.
• Ensure quality standards and minimize rework and rejection.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, following all safety procedures and protocols.
• Document day to day work, inspection reports, and maintain checklists.

Requirements:

• Education:

  ITI in Machinist Grinder trade from a recognized institute.

• Experience:

  35 years of practical experience in precision grinding operations.
• Strong knowledge of grinding machine setup, wheel selection, and dressing techniques.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances and fine surface finishes.
• Familiarity with various materials like hardened steel, tool steel, and alloys.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection techniques.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to grinding operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to CNC grinding machines (optional but an added advantage).
• Experience in toolroom or precision component manufacturing.
• Good team collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts
