Role Overview

SAP FICO Tower Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Practice Management

• Lead the SAP FICO Tower across implementation, rollout, and AMS projects.
  
• Define and manage the S/4HANA Finance roadmap for RISE/GROW clients.
  
• Establish best practices, templates, and accelerators for rapid deployment.
  
• Drive finance digital transformation aligned with organizational goals.
  

2. Solution Design & Delivery

• Oversee end-to-end solution design, configuration, and validation.
  
• Ensure adherence to S/4HANA Finance architecture principles.
  
• Integrate FICO with MM, SD, PP, PS, HR, and SuccessFactors modules.
  
• Utilize Fiori Apps, SAP BTP, and AI-driven analytics for process optimization.
  

3. RISE with SAP / GROW with SAP Expertise

• Partner with SAP and hyperscalers for RISE with SAP (Private/Public Cloud).
  
• Guide clients on GROW with SAP adoption and cloud scalability.
  
• Understand cloud subscription models, SLAs, and upgrade frameworks.
  

4. Financial Process Transformation

• Redesign finance processes per S/4HANA capabilities and IFRS/Ind AS standards.
  
• Implement automation in accounting, reconciliation, and closing cycles.
  
• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and Auditors for compliance alignment.
  

5. Governance & People Management

• Lead and mentor a global team of SAP FICO consultants.
  
• Define KPIs, delivery frameworks, and quality assurance standards.
  
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and talent development.
  

Core Functional Expertise

• Financial Accounting (FI):

  GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation, Consolidation.

• Controlling (CO):

  Cost Center, Profit Center, Product Costing, COPA.

• S/4HANA Finance Modules:

  Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Central Finance, Group Reporting, Embedded Analytics, Predictive Accounting, EBRR.

Required Skills

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong finance fundamentals.
  
• SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance Certification (Mandatory).
  

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience

  in SAP FICO delivery or tower management.
• Proven expertise in

  RISE with SAP / GROW with SAP

  programs.
• Strong knowledge of

  SAP Activate Methodology

  and

  Fit-to-Standard design

  .
• Excellent communication with CXO-level stakeholders.
  

Preferred Background

• Experience with Global System Integrators or SAP Platinum Partners.
  
• Exposure to multi-country rollouts with complex finance structures.
  
• Knowledge of SAP Signavio, BTP extensions, and automation tools like

  BlackLine

  or

  Serrala

• Familiarity with Agile / Activate delivery models.
