Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage
Revit models
for audio-visual system layouts including device placement, conduit routing, rack elevations, and cable pathways.
Prepare
detailed drawings
such as floor plans, riser diagrams, equipment layouts, and schematics for AV systems.
Coordinate with
architectural, electrical, and MEP teams
to integrate AV systems into overall building designs.
Maintain
BIM standards
, templates, and families specific to AV devices and components.
Review design inputs, redlines, and markups from engineers and incorporate changes into Revit models accurately.
Produce
shop drawings, as-built documentation
, and coordination drawings for construction and installation.
Ensure all drawings and models adhere to
company standards, QA/QC processes
, and client specifications.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure design intent and functionality are accurately represented in Revit.
Stay up to date with
Revit and BIM software developments
and suggest improvements to workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelors degree in
Engineering, Architecture, or related field
.
2–5 years of experience
as a Revit Designer/Drafter in the
Audio-Visual, MEP, or related domain
.
Strong proficiency in
Autodesk Revit
and
AutoCAD
.
Familiarity with
BIM coordination
processes and
clash detection tools
(e.g., Navisworks).
Understanding of
audio-visual systems
such as displays, projectors, control systems, speakers, microphones, and signal routing.
Ability to read and interpret
architectural, electrical, and low-voltage drawings
.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
