Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Power BI & Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level BI reports, dashboards, and Power Apps solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps along with hands-on experience in data modeling, DAX, SQL, and Azure data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI Development: Build interactive and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI.

Data Modeling: Design BI data models following Kimball methodology.

DAX Expertise: Write efficient DAX expressions for calculations such as running totals and balance calculations.

Power Platform Integration: Develop Power Apps and enable write-back to Azure data sources.

Visualization & UI Design: Customize standard Power BI charts, dynamic dimensions/measures, and design effective layouts.

Data Connectivity: Work with diverse data sources like Azure (Blobs, SQL DW, SQL DB), SAP BW, HANA, SQL Server, Oracle.

SQL Development: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.

Performance Optimization: Optimize Power BI reports for large datasets and enhance performance.

Navigation & Storytelling: Use bookmarks, drill-throughs, and other Power BI navigation features for better storytelling.

Power BI Administration: Configure/setup Power BI environments and licensing within an operational business.

Technical Skills Required:

Power BI: 7+ years of experience in developing reports and dashboards.

Power Apps & Power Automate: 3+ years of experience.

DAX: Advanced DAX scripting for performance-driven calculations.

SQL & RDBMS: Strong SQL query writing for data retrieval and transformation.

Azure Data Sources: Experience working with Azure Blobs, Azure SQL DW, SQL DB.

Data Transformation: Query Editor and ETL transformations in Power BI.

UI Design: Expertise in customizing reports and dashboards with themes and grids.

Performance Tuning: Report and query performance optimization techniques.

Power BI Setup & Licensing: Configuration and administration within an enterprise setup.
