Job Description

SUMMARY

Machine Operator (Machine Shop)

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor various machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, and grinders.
Perform machine setup, alignment, and calibration prior to production runs.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions accurately.
Machine parts and components to precise dimensional tolerances as per specifications.
Conduct quality inspections on finished products using measuring instruments (e.g., vernier calipers, micrometers).
Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive checks on equipment.
Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors on time.

Requirements

Requirements:

Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 2 5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Operator in a machine shop or industrial setting.
Gulf experience is preferred.
Proven experience operating manual or CNC-controlled machining equipment.
Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and using precision measuring tools.
Strong technical understanding of machining processes and shop floor tools.
Basic English proficiency; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
