Role Expectations

The Electrical Engineer is,

• Makes robust electrical schemes according to the timing, budget and quality of the projects assigned
• Ensures the technical integrity of the work delivered from the Global Engineering Hub
• Coaches and leads Engineers, Assistant Engineers, the focus is on developing their technical & engineering management skills

Details of the Engineering Scope of Work:

1. Development/update of electrical schemes
2. Develop electrical schemes
3. Update existing schemes
4. Standards design
5. Safety & Compliance
6. Perform risk assessments
7. Performance level calculations
8. On-site checklist
9. Documentation & Compliance
10. Develop electrical documentation, including:
11. User manuals.
12. BOM & schemes
13. Technical data
14. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and best practices.
15. On-Site Support
16. Travel to customer sites for debugging and machine qualification.

Additionally, the role requires the following experience,

• Collaborate closely with Team Leaders of other departments and Project Management, to align project objectives.
• Ensure that all required procedures and standards are implemented and respected.
• Establish an organizational structure and effective communication protocols. 
• Establish phases in the tasks and make weekly / fortnightly reviews with team members to take corrective actions.
• Enhance the internal training and propose potential improvements regarding Electrical Engineering processes (Methodology / Standardization)
• Support the creation of a library of standard groups and components and ensure the application of the Electrical internal standardization guidelines.
• Ensure Manuals and technical reports are developed accurately.
• Verify the design calculations of other engineers within the Electrical Engineering team.
• Create positive impact to all stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners, internal organization, etc.) by sharing Quest Global Customers strong brand values, essence, philosophy, heritage, way of doing, purpose, value proposition, etc.

Examples of Engineering deliverables:

• Schematic drawings, Material list, sizing calcultaions, reports.
• User manuals and technical documentation.
• Risk Assessments analysis

1. Electrical diagram design software, preferably EPLAN
2. Strong computer skills
3. Strong ability to read and analyse electrical schemes 
4. Solid electrical knowledge in complex technical drive systems and in electrical cabinets design
5. Knowledge of Machine Directive and other industrial equipment safety rules
6. Technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.)
7. Working experience in an international team
8. Green Belt 6-Sigma Certification / Experience
9. Fluent in English, both written and spoken
10. Flexible to travel
11. Knowledge of Spanish, Polish, Chinese or German will be positively valued
