Backend Engineer Terraform

Location:

Hybrid Mode

Role Overview

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design & implement
scalable APIs
and service layers (REST/GraphQL)
Integrate
AI/ML models
into backend infrastructure
Build & manage data access layers, databases, and external APIs
Develop
infrastructure using Terraform
to support cloud deployments
Contribute to
CI/CD pipelines, deployment, logging & monitoring
Collaborate with ML, frontend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Must-Have Skills

Backend Development:
Python (FastAPI/Flask), Microservices, API development
Infrastructure as Code:
Terraform (proficient in writing & managing modules)
Cloud Platforms:
AWS (Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM)
CI/CD:
GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
Testing:
Pytest, unit & integration testing
Version Control:
Git (GitHub/GitLab)
Containerization:
Docker Compose

Good to Have

Experience with Kafka / SQS, Airflow, Glue, AWS Step Functions
Exposure to data parsing (JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet)
Knowledge of Go / Node.js / Java
