Position Title: TGT Hindi Teacher Location: Podar International School, Talegaon Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary: The TGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the Hindi language to middle and secondary school students (Grades 610). The role includes planning and executing engaging lessons, developing language skills, and fostering a love for the language and literature. Key Responsibilities: Teach Hindi language and literature to Grades 610 as per the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board, as applicable). Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities. Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement. Conduct assessments, evaluations, and maintain academic records. Encourage student participation through discussions, storytelling, reading, and writing activities. Support students in improving reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills. Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns. Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and training programs. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Hindi. B.Ed. qualification is mandatory. Minimum 23 years of experience teaching Hindi at the middle or secondary school level. Strong command over Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and literature. Basic proficiency in English and good communication skills. Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools. Preferred Skills: Passion for teaching and language development. Good classroom management and student interaction skills. Creative teaching approach with an ability to make lessons engaging.
