As a Backend Developer at our company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems. Your primary responsibility will involve end-to-end engineering, which includes designing, developing, testing, deploying, debugging, maintaining, and improving server-side applications and APIs. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. In this role, you will implement security and data protection measures, write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members, troubleshooting and debugging issues as they arise, and staying up-to-date with the latest backend development trends and technologies. To be successful in this position, you should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in developing applications, experience working in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in Golang, and Python as an added advantage. Strong design skills involving data modeling and low-level class design are essential, along with knowledge of best practices for working with large data sets and DB clusters. You must have a passion for problem-solving and building scalable systems, as well as experience in developing scalable and low-latency microservices. Hands-on experience with Docker, deploying using CI/CD pipelines, public cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, databases, Linux/Unix platforms, microservices architecture, caching (Redis), message queues, streaming services, web sockets, SQL (ClickHouse), NoSQL (MongoDB), and scalable systems is required for this role. Additionally, experience with performance engineering, gRPC (HTTP2 Protocol Buffers), high-performance websites catering to millions of requests, and techniques like replication and sharding will be beneficial. As a Backend Developer, you will actively participate in system design and architecture discussions, manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, and work on scaling services to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
