Experience with medium voltage systems and safe, reliable system design in those domains. Proven success delivering modular, scalable and high-efficiency electrical architectures under cost and performance constraints. Hands-on experience with digital control systems, gate drivers, magnetics design and thermal management. Strong familiarity with grid-connected systems, including solar PV inverters, battery energy storage or similar. Excellent leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You will be working as part of K&A Power & Renewable - Distribution team, focusing on the delivery of power distribution infrastructure projects. Your role will involve diligently checking and reviewing deliverables to ensure high quality standards are met, while also ensuring that projects are completed within the specified timeframes. To be considered for this position, you must hold a Bachelor Degree in Electrical & Electronics/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant design experience in a dry utilities engineering environment, preferably with Vendors, Contractors, or Design Consultancies in infrastructure projects. Prior work experience in Middle East projects related to dry utilities is highly desirable. Your knowledge should encompass IEC/IEEE Standards, Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Power distribution and planning, as well as proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Dialux. Familiarity with Dialux software for outdoor street lighting calculation and Pump Stations Electrical design works is essential. You should be capable of independently handling project deliverables from the base design stage to detailed designs and possess excellent English communication skills within the engineering domain. In addition to the essential qualifications, having a demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within infrastructure projects (Dry utilities) is advantageous. You should be adept at applying technical knowledge to analyze problems and devise effective solutions. Willingness to travel to Middle East and African Countries for short-term assignments is expected, along with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures and working environments. Moreover, you should be capable of establishing strong relationships with customers and colleagues, demonstrating self-motivation, and being able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently as needed. Effective communication within multidisciplinary teams, a flexible approach to work, the ability to work autonomously, and proficiency in Dialux, AutoCAD, low voltage, and high voltage systems are essential skills for this role.,
