Job Description Join SanDisk India as a Technical ASIC Project Leader and take charge of developing the cutting-edge ASICs that power the next generation of the USB storage solutions. This is a high-impact leadership role where your technical expertise and strategic vision will drive projects from concept to mass production. Key Responsibilities Lead Full-Cycle SoC Development: Own the end-to-end development of high-performance ASIC controllers, from architecture definition to production ramp-up. Translate Product Vision into Technical Execution: Collaborate with product, firmware, and system teams to define ASIC requirements aligned with SanDisks storage solutions. Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with SoC Design, Verification, Validation, DFT, Physical Design, Mixed-Signal IP, Foundry, Hardware, Firmware, and Test Engineering teams to deliver industry-leading SoC solutions. Ensure Technical Excellence: Conduct in-depth technical reviews, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Mentor and Inspire: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Communicate with Impact: Deliver clear, concise, and transparent project updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and enthusiasm across all levels. Qualifications Masters degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience leading complex ASIC or SoC development projects. Strong technical background in digital design, verification, and silicon validation with good understanding of the USB, PCIe, ONFI standards and peripherals. Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage technical risks and drive execution in a fast-paced environment. Passion for innovation and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with EDA tools and methodologies for ASIC development. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in semiconductor design. Expertise in low-power design techniques and high-speed interfaces. Key Responsibilities: Develop AMS verification environments from the ground up using SystemVerilog/UVM Own and execute test planning, AMS setup, and mixed-signal simulation Work on SerDes verification involving high-speed protocols (PCIe, USB 3.0, MIPI, etc.) Model and verify analog/mixed-signal blocks using wreal , RNM , and Verilog-A Perform simulations using VCS Primesim AMS and Primesim XA tools Collaborate closely with analog, digital, and system teams for integrated AMS verification

Define and develop SoC architecture specifications with a focus on advanced interface technologies (PCIe Gen 5/6, CXL 2.0/3.0, custom NoC solutions). Create detailed micro-architectural specifications including block diagrams, interface definitions, and performance models. Collaborate with IP teams to define and implement PCIe controllers, CXL interfaces, and custom NoC topologies. Develop performance models and conduct analysis to optimize system throughput, latency, and power consumption. Lead technical discussions with cross-functional teams including RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams. Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the design lifecycle. Evaluate and select third-party IP components when appropriate. Participate in industry standard committees and stay current with emerging interface technologies. At Least 8+ years of experience in SoC architecture with specific focus on high-speed interconnect technologies. Deep technical knowledge of PCIe (Gen 4/5/6) and CXL specifications and implementations. Extensive experience designing and implementing Network-on-Chip architecture. Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for architecture modeling and verification. Experience with PCIe and CXL switch design, and implementation is an added advantage. Experience with CXL 2.0/3.0 implementation and memory semantics. Familiarity with emerging interface standards (UCIe, CCIX).
