High School Social Studies Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Studies Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to become informed, engaged citizens through engaging lessons on history, geography, civics, and economics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards in subjects such as History, Civics, Geography, and Economics.
• Foster critical thinking and debate through interactive and discussion-based teaching methods.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessment tools to support diverse learners.
• Maintain accurate student records, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Studies, History, Political Science, Education, or related field.
• Valid state teaching certification (or equivalent) for high school Social Studies.
• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring high school students.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with digital learning tools and technology integration.
• Ability to create interdisciplinary lessons connected to current events.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
