High School Mathematics Teacher

Role Overview: You will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to high school students following the CBSE curriculum at Narayana Etechno School. Your role will involve delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, managing the classroom effectively, and encouraging student participation in extracurricular Mathematics activities. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Mathematics to students of Grades 9-12 as per the CBSE syllabus. - Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons catering to diverse student abilities. - Utilize innovative teaching methods, including technology-integrated instruction and real-life applications of mathematics. - Prepare and evaluate assignments, tests, and exams in alignment with CBSE guidelines. - Provide timely feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their progress. - Foster a positive learning environment, manage classroom discipline, and motivate students to develop critical thinking skills. - Stay updated with CBSE syllabus changes, teaching methodologies, and best practices. - Participate in professional development activities and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration. - Encourage student participation in Mathematics Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions. - Organize and mentor students in math clubs and other academic activities. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. - B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. - Prior experience in teaching Mathematics at the high school level, preferably with CBSE board experience. - Strong command over mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills. - Proficiency in using technology for teaching, such as smart boards and online resources.
